The challenge

Our client wanted a system to remove spores from cheese milk without losing significant yield, that could be automatically turned on or off.



The Solution

We installed two pairs of bacteria-removing centrifuges in series, integrated into existing milk pasteurisation systems.

We also designed and installed a small UHT process using electric heating (no steam was available on site) to heat-treat the centrifuge sediment discharge stream to allow it to be reincorporated into product streams.
