Louisiana is home to two Bolting System’s rental centers located in Sulphur and Gonzales. The facilities each represent the full Bolting System’s line of hydraulic technologies. The Bolting Systems Louisiana rental centers are foundational to the supply of rental hydraulic torque wrenches for the oil and gas and power generation industries.
Built-in 2018, the SPX FLOW Bolting Systems Louisiana rental centers are at the forefront of the hydraulic technologies industry. Both rental centers offer a depth of supporting hydraulic equipment services including calibration of pump gauges, torque wrenches, clicker wrenches and pneumatic torque guns along with expert repair services for SPX FLOW hydraulic pump units and all torque and tensioning tooling.
With over 70 years’ experience in the development of hydraulic technologies, SPX FLOW Bolting Systems also offers standard and specially designed bolting equipment to fit your unique application. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
SPX Flow Bolting Systems offers a Preventative Maintenance Program will ensure your bolting equipment ready to go when you need it. By utilizing our quarterly program, you can reduce downtime of your tooling allowing allocation of resources on a day to day basis without the worry of equipment failure in the field.
As an OEM manufacturer of hydraulic bolting products, you can be assured your tooling will be serviced and maintained by highly trained technicians and genuine OEM parts will be used in SPX manufactured tooling, ensuring the highest quality and workmanship.
Hydraulic Torque and Tension Pump Maintenance /Multi-Point Service:
Includes a dated and signed inspection report of the pump unit. The repair technician will visually inspect for the following:
- Excessive wear, malfunctioning or damaged components
- Leaking hydraulic fluid
- Loose bolts or cap screws
- Modified, welded, or altered equipment
Clean, Test & Calibrate:
- Thorough cleaning of the unit and components
- Hydraulic fluid change, system flush, and cleaning of the reservoir
- New hydraulic reservoir gasket (torque pumps only)
- Inspection and service of the 3-way valve and air motor (air pumps only)
- Extensive testing to simulate field conditions ensuring the unit operates to performance specifications
- Calibration of standard or liquid filled gauges
Hydraulic Torque Wrench Preventative Maintenance/Multi-Point Service:
Includes a dated and signed inspection report of the torque tool. The repair technician
will visually inspect for the following conditions:
- Excessive wear, bending, or damage to the tool and/or the interior components
- Malfunctioning or damaged ratchet or square drive
Clean, Test & Calibrate:
- Disassemble and perform a thorough cleaning of external and internal components
- Internal components will be coated with SPX Flow OEM specified lubricant before reassembly
- Test to simulate field conditions ensuring the unit operates to performance specifications
- Calibration of the link and/or square drive and pressure test of the power head/drive body
- Above service will be performed on any brand of hydraulic torque wrench and we will make recommendations on any repairs or parts needed.
Our Preventative Maintenance Program is available at any of our US Bolting locations, located in Pasadena and Corpus Christi, Texas and Sulphur and Gonzales, Louisiana.
BOLTING SYSTEMS REPAIR AND CALIBRATION SERVICES
SPX Flow Bolting Systems provides full rental, repair and calibration services from our Rental Centers around the globe. We have an extensive rental fleet of low clearance and square drive torque wrenches as well as spring return tensioners in size ranges from 7/8” up to 6 1/8” A/F. All available 24/7 for your planned project, or emergency needs.
Our highly trained repair technicians will repair your torque tooling or hydraulic pumps with genuine OEM parts so you can be assured of a quality repair. Our calibration services include hydraulic torque wrenches, gauges up to 60,000 psi, hand clicker wrenches, pneumatic torque guns and other bolting tools. Our Rental & Repair centers are located across the globe including Pasadena and Corpus Christi, TX USA, Sulphur and Gonzales, LA USA, Aberdeen, Scotland, Perth Australia, Eygelshoven, Netherlands, Singapore and Shanghai, China.

POWERTHON LIFETIME WARRANTY
“Bolting Systems” is a registered trademark of the SPX FLOW Hydraulic Technologies division of SPX FLOW Corporation (“SPX FLOW”). All Bolting Systems products and parts, with the exceptions noted below, are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product or part. (The life of the product or part is defined as that point in time when it no longer safely or properly functions due to normal wear). Inflatable jacks, chains, batteries, electric motors, gas engines, knives and cutter blades which are sold with Bolting Systems products are not covered by this warranty and instead are warranted as follows:
- Inflatable Jacks and electronics are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase.
- Consumable parts or accessories, including without limitation, chains, batteries, knives and cutter blades are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase.
- All electric motors and gas engines are separately warranted by their respective manufacturer under the terms and conditions stated in their separate warranty.
The foregoing warranties do not cover ordinary wear and tear or any product or part that has been worn out, abused, heated, ground or otherwise altered, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended or used in a manner inconsistent with any instructions regarding its use. To qualify for warranty consideration, return the Bolting Systems product, freight prepaid, to a Bolting Systems authorized repair center or to the SPX FLOW factory. If any product or part manufactured by SPX FLOW found to be defective by SPX FLOW , in its sole judgment, SPX FLOW will, at its option, either repair or replace such defective product or part and return it via best ground transportation, freight prepaid. THIS REMEDY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE FOR ANY DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCTS OR PARTS MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY SPX FLOW OR FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY OTHER CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, SPX FLOW’S NEGLIGENCE. SPX FLOW SHALL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, BE LIABLE TO ANY BUYER FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER FOR DEFECTIVE OR NON-CONFORMING GOODS, NEGLIGENCE, ON THE BASIS OF STRICT LIABILITY OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON.
SPX FLOW’s Bolting Systems Warranty is expressly limited to persons who purchase Bolting Systems products or parts for the resale or for use in the ordinary course of the buyer's business.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE, AND SPX FLOW MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY IT, WHETHER AS TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY OTHER MATTER.
No agent, employee, or representative of SPX FLOW has any authority to bind SPX FLOW to any affirmation, representation, or warranty concerning Bolting Systems products or parts, except as stated herein. The purpose of this exclusive remedy shall be to provide the buyer with repair or replacement of products or parts manufactured by SPX FLOW found to be defective in materials or workmanship or negligently manufactured. This exclusive remedy shall not be deemed to have failed of its essential purpose so long as SPX FLOW is willing and able to replace said defective products or parts in the prescribed manner. Any inconsistent terms contained in SPX FLOW’s Standard Terms and Conditions, or other SPX terms or warranty documents shall not be interpreted to modify or limit this PowerThon Warranty. For the avoidance of doubt, this PowerThon Warranty is applicable only to Bolting Systems products and does not apply to any other SPX FLOW products.
