Heat Transfer In Stirred Tanks
Join us virtually as host Richard Cope, Ph. D, reviews the characteristics of heat transfer in stirred tanks. With nearly 20 years in the mixing field, Cope is a wealth of knowledge that can understand and partner with you on the most challenging of mixing applications.
Richard is a Senior Process Consulting Engineer with 20+ of experience in the mixing field. He holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University with tenure at SPX FLOW, Dow Chemical, Eli Lilly and Alkermes. His expertise includes liquid-liquid dispersion, solid suspension and distribution, gas-liquid mixing, chemical reactor design and scaling (up and down), high-shear mixing, packed beds and pipeline (static) mixers, experimental methods, and computer modeling (e.g., CFD).
