Industrial Fluid Mixing: Engineering Theory and Practice Mixing Course

A four-day course to demystify the science of mixing and provide practical knowledge that can immediately be put into practice. In this course you’ll learn how to:

  • Identify mixing problems and define techniques to address them
  • Select the appropriate impeller to achieve desired results
  • Perform calculations for sizing agitators (power, speed, etc.)
  • Discuss process requirements with your vendors and assess their proposal
  • Decipher scenarios to choose between modeling techniques or in-lab, physical testing
  • Course qualifies for Professional Development Hours (PDH)

Hosted by Richard K. Grenville, PhD. Grenville holds over 30 years’ experience in the mixing field, adjunct professor at Rowan University and University of Delaware, a Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, and President of the North American Mixing Forum.
