Working with local distributor IFE Servicio Técnico, Waukesha Cherry-Burrell introduced processors in southern Córdoba to the Votator II Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger, a solution designed to provide controlled cooling for viscous products such as peanut butter and peanut paste.for thick, sticky, shear sensitive products like peanut butter.
The Votator supports three critical stages of peanut butter processing:
- Cooling: Gently reduces peanut butter temperature to help maintain product quality.
- Control: Provides precise management of temperature and viscosity for consistent processing.
- Thickening: Allows viscosity to gradually increase as the product cools, helping achieve a stable finished product.
The technology also supports a modular approach to production expansion. IFE Servicio Técnico developed modular peanut processing lines capable of starting at approximately 1,000 kg/hour of peanut paste, with the ability to expand to approximately 2,000 kg/hour by adding another Votator II heat exchanger.
