SPX FLOW Extends its Partnership with Nations Ford Elementary School with Back-to-School Donations

Company’s move to hybrid office model benefits Charlotte students

Charlotte, N.C.- August 31, 2022 - SPX FLOW, Inc., a leading provider of process solutions for the Industrial, Nutrition and Health markets, continues its long-standing partnership with Nations Ford Elementary in Charlotte for this back-to-school season by donating office equipment and supplies from the company’s Charlotte headquarters building.

We know how important Nations Ford is to our community,” said SPX FLOW Chief Financial Officer Jaime Easley. “Knowing these supplies will go to help the students and teachers makes for even more excitement as we move to our new hybrid work environment.”

Going into its seventh year as a partner with Nations Ford, SPX FLOW continues to support the school by donating time and money to sponsor reading celebrations, campus beautification projects, supply drives, teacher appreciation events and t-shirt donations.

“Our relationship with SPX FLOW has developed as a model of healthy and consistent support in urban public-school environments for others. The investment of time, talent, and physical resources of SPX Flow staff has aided us in meeting and exceeding our school goals in a very real way,” said Nicholas Paquette, Principal at Nations Ford Elementary. “Most recently through the gifts of SPX FLOW we were able to equip our teachers and office staff with the supplies needed to better support our community. We are most excited of the support in designing and equipping a conference room and a family resource center to strengthen the relationship between families, school, and the greater community. I can see no other no other path in which we could have accomplished so much.”

The donation of office supplies comes just in time for back-to-school season. With SPX FLOW’s move to a more virtual work environment, employees have consolidated three floors of office space into a one-floor hybrid space, leaving a large amount of unused office supplies. To reduce waste and give back, team members collected supplies from their desks to donate to Nations Ford students and classrooms; everything from file-holders, copy paper, notepads, pens and staplers to a conference room table.

"Giving back to our communities is an important part of our culture at SPX FLOW and an underlying element of our purpose to help feed and enhance the world. We have a specific mission to invest in a brighter future for the youth in our community and look forward to continuing to support Nations Ford in all they are doing for student success," added Easley.
