Description :

The RUF Series Check Valve is used in places where a return flow of product in pipelines must be avoided.  This check valve is utilized in brewery, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical processing.

Theory of Operation

Non-return check valve working principle

A non-return valve is used in places where return flow of product in pipelines must be avoided.

The valve opens by pressure of the liquid against the spring-loaded valve disc. The closing process is initiated by the preloaded spring when the liquid flows in the flow direction stops.

  • All seal materials are FDA compliant

Max. Temperature:  

  • EPDM, HNBR, FPM and VMQ: 275°F/135°C
  • Short term: 284°F/140°C
  • VMQ and FPM should not be used with hot water/steam

Max. Line Pressure: 145 PSI (10 bar)
