BlueLight Whitening System® - Option

Product Type(s) : Spray Dryers
Description :

Until now, manufacturers worldwide relied on activated carbon for removal of riboflavin to create a whiter lactose powder. Those days are over. Introducing the Anhydro BlueLight Whitening System – a breakthrough innovation that harnesses blue light technology to remove the yellow color of riboflavin to get white lactose powder. This cutting-edge solution not only offers cost savings but also promotes environmental friendliness.

The BlueLight Whitening System has been granted the non-novel food technology certification by the European Union (EU).

Integration and Compatibility

The BlueLight Whitening System integrates seamlessly with the existing process by connecting it to a process pipe upstream of the crystallization tanks. Ideally, the integration is preferred at temperatures ranging from 50-75°C and with low turbidity conditions. The efficiency of the system will vary based on the specific conditions at the integration point, and this can be determined accurately through field tests using a rental unit.

(*): Typically 2-3x installed effect will be needed if exposing at 10°C vs 70°C.
(**): Unit heats air in room where it is placed, if ventilation cannot keep room temperature below 30°C. during production, then unit must be supplied with 3000 m3/h air at 25°C.
(***): If more than 19,2 KW is required then 2 units must be installed.
(****): If pressure exceeds 5,5 baro, then unit must be installed with a booster pump after the unit.
(*****): Low turbidity makes fluorescence measurement correlate better to level of riboflavin.
