Tall Form Spray Dryers
Anhydro Tall Form Spray Dryers are specially designed for the production of large, spherical, single, non-agglomerated particles.

FEATURES
The feed is atomized at low pressure in a co-current flow with the drying air, which is introduced at the top of the chamber as a laminar flow.
The chamber features a large cylindrical section that provides sufficient residence time for large particles to dry under gentle conditions. Most of the powder is discharged at the chamber bottom and can be further dried or cooled in an external fluid bed.
The fines are carried with the drying air to a separation system. Many tall-form drying plants are equipped with a bustle on the cylinder for the air outlet, which minimizes the dust fraction in the powder.
The particle size ranges from 300 to 800 microns.
