APV Rising/Falling Film Plate Evaporators – Original and Versatile Design
As the original plate-type evaporator, the APV Rising/Falling Film Plate Evaporators are flexible, multi-duty units engineered to handle small-to-medium production runs of heat-sensitive products. Water removal capacities range from 1,000 to 35,000 lbs/hr (454 to 15,876 kg/h) for the standard-size plate. For much smaller production or pilot plant trials, a junior plate evaporator can operate at as low as 100 lbs/hr (45.5 kg/h) of water removal. Either plate can be arranged in a multiple-effect system to maximize thermal efficiency.
Water Removal Capacity and Scalability
-
Standard Plate Capacity
Water removal capacities range from 1,000 to 35,000 lbs/hr (454 to 15,876 kg/h) for the standard-size plate.
