RUF3 Series - Check Valves
The RUF Series Check Valve is used in places where a return flow of product in pipelines must be avoided. This check valve is utilized in brewery, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical processing.

Flow Efficiency and Pressure Characteristics
- Minimal flow resistance and pressure drop for smooth operation
- Ball-shaped valve body ensures consistent fluid flow
- Responds at low pressure: 0.72 psi (0.05 bar)
- Fully open at just 1.16 psi (0.08 bar)
Sanitary and System Integration Features
- Designed for CIP (Clean-in-Place) cleaning processes
- Soft seat seal ensures leak-tight operation
- Direct welding compatibility for streamlined system integration
Sizes: 1" - 4" / DN25 - DN100 Product Wetted Parts: AISI 316L / 1.4404 Seal Materials:
- EPDM,HNBR, FPM, VMQ
- All seal materials are FDA compliant
Max. Temperature:
- EPDM, HNBR, FPM and VMQ: 275°F/135°C
- Short term: 284°F/140°C
- VMQ and FPM should not be used with hot water/steam
