Andre Vierke
Engineering Director – Pump Solutions
Andre Vierke is the Engineering Director Pump Solutions at SPX FLOW, overseeing NPD, R&D, and order engineering across global teams for the past five years. With over 18 years of professional experience, including 13 years in the oil & gas sector, he brings deep expertise in pipe handling, rotating equipment, and industry standards. As the AI Ambassador for Pump Solutions, Andre drives the adoption of AI solutions, IIoT integration, and data-driven methods to enhance reliability, safety, and lifecycle performance. His interests include high-pressure applications, CCUS (CO₂ utilization), hydrogen, and ammonia technologies, and he has served as an API working-group chair on standards and compliance. Andre’s leadership style is collaborative and focused on sustainable outcomes and continuous improvement. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Hamburg, completing his diploma at DESY (a leading accelerator center) after starting his career with hands-on education as an industrial mechanic with Vattenfalll.
