Real-Time Insights for Operational Optimization

The APV TruView Monitoring System gives processors greater visibility into what is happening across their operations and why. By tracking planned and unplanned production states, including runtime, CIP activity and downtime, it helps teams make data-driven decisions that improve uptime, reduce losses and increase efficiency.
With real-time monitoring of production performance and operational events, teams can respond faster, stay aligned with KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement. TruView enables operators and managers to move beyond reactive troubleshooting by using live and historical performance data to support continuous improvement, smarter resource planning and stronger day-to-day decision-making.

Built for Smarter, More Transparent Operations

As a performance-enhancing module within the FactoryExpert automation platform, TruView provides a centralized HMI view of system activity across UHT systems, membrane filtration, butter equipment and other process skids. It tracks planned and unplanned states such as production, idle time, downtime and cleaning cycles, helping teams understand losses, identify root causes and improve line utilization.

TruView combines real-time dashboards with historical performance tracking so teams can quickly spot trends and act on them. Daily summaries and cycle-level views make it easier to compare runs, investigate delays and uncover recurring issues that affect throughput, quality and resource use.

Theory of Operation

TruView continuously collects operational data from connected APV processing systems and organizes it into clearly defined system states such as production, idle and CIP. The system logs interruptions, equipment faults and operator-related delays, then displays that information through the FactoryExpert HMI for immediate review and analysis.

Daily Performance Monitoring

Daily performance monitoring summarizes 24-hour plant activity, including both planned and unplanned events. Data is stored automatically at midnight and retained for up to 14 days, giving teams a rolling view of recent performance.

Cycle Performance Monitoring

Cycle performance monitoring captures events within each production run, including delays related to equipment or operator actions. This data is stored for the last 14 production cycles, making it easier to compare runs and identify repeat issues.
